Access Control

Access control systems provide a business tool or method to control the access or movement of staff in an environment.

Clubs, hotels, health institutions, commercial buildings and even homes, there is an access control solution for all occasions to assist in the movement of people.

Access control systems come in many different forms, from a mechanical master key system, digital code locks or electronic swipe or proximity access systems. The most recent addition to the readers of access control system is the biometric identification system. A good access control system can sometimes incorporate all or some of these options for a low to high level of access or security in a building or home environment.

Possibly the most common system for single door access control is the simple pin code based system. These can start from a simple mechanical single code unit.

A biometric operated access control system utilises hand or finger verification by the user. This type of system is becoming more popular as the technology gains momentum and products become more reliable.

Again as with other electronic access control systems these systems can be used for a single access point to many over multiple doors or sites.
